PING’s Fitting programs are a continuation of Karsten Solheim’s pioneering work in custom fitting. Participants in the programs have been certified by PING to provide the most comprehensive and thorough fittings available. Authorized fitters rely on a variety of tools, including the interchangeable drivers and irons offered in the Advanced Fitting System (AFS), to ensure your clubs match your individual needs. The 40-iron Fitting Cart, metal wood and putter fitting systems offer you the opportunity to have every club in your bag custom fit and custom built.
by a 3-to-1 margin, PING has trained thousands of fitters in order to bring the benefits of custom fitting to all golfers.
at our plant in Phoenix, learning about PING products, how they are manufactured, and how to fit golf clubs "Karsten's way." The result is that every authorized PING Fitting Cart Account is staffed with knowledgeable, factory-trained personnel who are able to custom-fit a golfer for a complete set of PING golf clubs.
Each year, PING selects a fitter whose commitment to club-fitting and service deserves special recognition. The PING National Fitter of the Year award, first given in 1997, recognizes the Authorized PING Fitter who has demonstrated the highest commitment to custom fitting and the promotion of its benefits to golfers of all abilities. The 2012 recipient is Carolyn Echols and her staff at The Eagle Zone Golf Center in Greenville, S.C.
“Carolyn and her team are exceptional ambassadors for the PING custom-fitting philosophy,” said John A. Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO. “They combine technical expertise and first-rate customer service, qualities that build a loyal customer base while also growing the game with new golfers. She and her staff are consummate professionals. It’s no wonder The Eagle Zone has had so much success. Plus, they have a very impressive facility that’s ideal for promoting and conducting custom fittings. We’re proud to recognize their success, and they are highly deserving of being PING’s National Fitter of the Year.”
