Ranked as the leader in custom fitting in a recent consumer survey

by a 3-to-1 margin, PING has trained thousands of fitters in order to bring the benefits of custom fitting to all golfers.

Factory-trained PING club fitters spend three days

at our plant in Phoenix, learning about PING products, how they are manufactured, and how to fit golf clubs "Karsten's way." The result is that every authorized PING Fitting Cart Account is staffed with knowledgeable, factory-trained personnel who are able to custom-fit a golfer for a complete set of PING golf clubs.

Each year, PING selects a fitter whose commitment to club-fitting and service deserves special recognition.

The National Fitter of the Year award, first given in 1997, recognizes the authorized PING Fitter that has demonstrated the highest commitment to custom fitting and the promotion of its benefits to golfers of all abilities. The 2009 recipient was John Lyberger and the staff at Congressional C.C. in Bethesda, Maryland.
