The i20 hybrids were awarded Gold in the 2012 Golf Digest “Hot List.” It’s easy to see why, considering how the i20’s compact head, low CG and forgiving face make it easy to launch the ball high and land it softly on the green from heavy rough or tight lies. Their distinctive matte-black finish eliminates glare.
More surface area low on the clubface ensures forgiveness to optimize launch conditions.
The straight leading edge and a slim, contoured head make aiming easy.
An innovative design gives you full command of the clubface for controlling trajectory and shot shape.

PING offers a variety of graphite shafts to optimize an individual golfer’s ball flight for the best possible feel and performance. PING’s proprietary shafts are engineered to complement our head designs so that every player can optimize their trajectories for predictable results.
We recommend that you get fit for the shaft that allows you to play your best golf. Whether that’s a softer, lighter shaft with a higher launch or a heavier, stiffer shaft with a lower trajectory, a PING Certified Club Fitter can help you find the shaft that brings consistency to your game.
|PING ID8||A soft rubber grip with dog-bone texture that offers enhanced control, the PING ID8 is our standard grip. Available in six color-coded sizes for golfers with different hand sizes.|
|ID8 Full Cord||Rubber grip with dog-bone texture and soft cord for comfort and control.|
PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight.
PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
The i20 hybrids have a small, compact head shape that is neutral and sets up square for easy alignment. Perimeter weighting ensures a high MOI. More surface area low on the clubface adds to forgiveness. A low-deep CG helps launch the ball from tight lies or heavy grass with optimal trajectory to stop the ball on the green.
Workability comes from an innovative design that provides full command of the clubface, allowing you to control the trajectory and the shape of your shots with confidence. A dramatic matte-black finish on the i20s eliminates glare and reflections to help you focus.
The i20 hybrids will launch the ball from heavy grass or tight lies and land it softly on the green. PING Senior Product Designer Mike Nicolette explains the qualities that earned the i20s a Golf Digest “Hot List” Gold award.
