  • Sole Weight

    The SF Tec (Straight Flight Technology) head is custom-engineered for players whose tee shots typically end up right of their intended target. The combination of a sole weight positioned closer to the heel and a lighter swing weight promotes a right-to-left ball flight to help you hit more fairways. Available in 10° and 12°.

  • Hotter Face Material

    A new high-strength, lightweight T9S titanium face is thinner and hotter to optimize face deflection for faster ball speeds and longer drives.

  • Crown Turbulators

    Turbulators in the crown of the 460cc head improve aerodynamics by reducing drag forces through the impact zone, leading to faster clubhead speed and ball velocity for long drives that find the fairway. Turbulators can also assist with aim and alignment.

  • Low-Back CG

    Thinning the face allowed weight savings to be allocated to help position the CG lower and farther back than any PING driver to date, ensuring high launch and optimized spin with a high MOI for extreme forgiveness.

  • 5-Setting Adjustability

    To optimize the performance of your driver and maximize carry distance and roll out, you can fine-tune launch angle and spin by adding or subtracting up to 1 degree of loft prior to your round. Settings are standard, +0.6°, +1°, -0.6°, or -1°.

To get the most distance from your driver, you must optimize the launch angle and spin rate of the ball by selecting the proper loft and the shaft flex for your swing speed. Generally, golfers with slower swing speeds require more lofted drivers and more flexible shafts to achieve the proper launch conditions. Conversely, golfers with faster swing speeds generally require lower lofted drivers and firmer shafts.

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight.

PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.

To generate faster clubhead speed and ball velocity for longer drives, turbulators were engineered onto the crown of the 460cc head. Proven in wind-tunnel testing to reduce aerodynamic drag and create efficient airflow, the added speed from the turbulators provides measurable distance gains for all skill levels. At address, they create a captured appearance with the ball and assist with alignment and inspiration.

The G30 drivers' CG position is the lowest and farthest back of any PING model, ensuring optimal launch conditions and an even higher MOI in both axes for extreme forgiveness and maximum energy transfer. A new high-strength, lightweight T9S titanium face is thinner and hotter to optimize face deflection for faster ball speeds and longer drives. Another source of power is the TFC 419D high-balance-point shaft. The CG is closer to the grip end, allowing for a heavier head, which increases the MOI and contributes to the extremely low CG. The result is more energy, momentum and inertia for greater distance with accuracy.

The adjustable hosel has the same mass and outer diameter as our fixed hosels, providing the benefits of adjustability with no sacrifice in performance. Our Trajectory Tuning+ Technology allows you to optimize your ball flight by increasing or reducing loft in intervals of 6/10ths of a degree and one full degree, to maximize distance and control.
